moonroof or not?

I dont really ever use the moonroof but dealer says hard to re-sell without.

Is it really in that demand?

I'm not getting one. Not sure what percent of people have to have one vs can live without but I can't imagine it would really help or hurt resale all that much.

I live in Las Vegas, it's a must. I also like on cooler days opening the sunroof and the rear sliding window for cool breeze to pass through.

Easiest way to decide if moonroof ownership is right for you is by asking one question:

WHEN it breaks, am I willing to fix it myself/pay for it to be fixed?

I decided to skip the moon roof for the following; never use it, noisy and don't really belong in an off-road truck.

That was my thought as well. I never use it.

But dealer told me they are hard to re-sell without moonroof and tailgate step.

Thats another thing I wouldnt use.
