Love my Ruby Red Raptor. Expensive but worth every penny. I've added a few upgrades but one is still escaping me. I want to add some kind of white LED light in the fog pocket but I can't pull the trigger on the $1200 options that seem to be so popular. Maybe down the road but not now. Don't get me wrong, they are really nice set ups and look great but not what I'm looking for at the moment. I do not go off road and have no plans to.

My '16 Explorer had lamps from the factory below the headlamps and I removed the halogen bulbs and replaced them with bright white LEDS. It was the look I wanted for less than $25. (Money is not the point)

Since I tweaked the DRL function with ForScan, I would like to either (1) find a blank filler plate for the fog pocket or (2) find a bezel with a white LED light that mounts in the pocket. So far, I have not found one I like. Any suggestions?

You don’t have to spend 1200 dollars. The same 1200 kit can come with different cube lights. That would set the kit up at 7-800

Fordraptorlights is the only vendor I’m aware of that has the bezel which give it that very clean OEM look.

There are rumors that the 2019 Raptor will have fogs and will undoubtedly have a clean look if true. If the bumper doesn’t change some of the parts used next year might work, but OEM parts are rarely cost effective.

Thanks for the heads up jab, was considering the same thing about my 2018, not here yet and given current production stoppages - likely to be awhile. I did the 2017 OEM fog light swap on my 2016 KR (which came with halogen bulbs that were nasty looking combined with the OEM LED lights) They had the exact same housing, plugged right in. Those were cost effective, but with the Raptor, who knows.
