Help--engine ticking sound

Hello all. I have googled and found where quite a few ecoboost owners (various ford models) complain about a slight ticking sound (sounds like the valves/rockers?)
Mine sure seems obnoxious sometimes – especially idling in the driveway when the fan is not running. Wondering if this is normal? Didn't leave it with the dealer but went by there and the service guy said "oh that just sounds like the turbos. Other ecoboosts do it also".

Direct Inject injectors are quite loud. And they make a ticking sound.

i guess you've never owned a Chevy. Every GM I've ever owned had a head tick. No biggie!

I have not noticed any ticking at all with mine, but I only have like 200 miles so far (also have not listened for it either). But I may be so used to the Chevy LS engines that pretty much anything else in comparison is quiet LOL
