Got tired of waiting, pulled the trigger on new truck on the lot

So I've had an order for a new raptor at my local dealership for over 2 months. I've spoken with Ford Performance for nearly 2 months and they keep telling me the same thing we see your order but there is nothing scheduled and no VIN call back later. With the plant shut down I started growing impatient and leery of my dealers estimate of 3-4 months. At this point I'm going to cancel my order because my local dealer has received 6 new raptors since I placed my order and I don't think they care to get my business.

So I've signed the papers on a new Leadfood out in MO, heading out this weekend to pick it up, and drive it home! I'll post some pics and updates when I get there!

The only things it doesn't have that I wanted was the orange accent trim and the factory bedliner. It had everything else I wanted, and some things I didn't want like the beadlocks and tailgate step. I worked out a deal below MSRP so I was ok with paying for the extras that I wouldn't wanted to have paid for. Over all it's very close to how I wanted it, so I'm happy with it.

I was in the same situation. I purchased an 18 magnetic screw from Mel Hambelton Ford in Wichita Kansas. The price was great and the customer service was amazing!
