@1:55 rust on rear end
@5:54 rust on front axle shaft and inner axle housing.

Thats how our trucks in NY look if you go threw some heavy salted winter driving and never wash it off.

Mine is rusted too. Noticed it immediately and showed it to the dealer. Still a little bitter I'm going to have to get under there with a wire brush. Don't mind the work but a new truck shouldn't need that kind of elbow grease.

Your 100 percent correct. A new truck should not show up like that, but after all the bs and long waits at least you got it in your possession.

Oh man, rust on the diffs? That's a bummer. Hope that isn't a sign.....

That rust looks worse than my 2012 Jeep. I sure hope that is not normal for these trucks.

I just looked under and I have about the same amount of rust everywhere except for the rear diff. A little on the drive shaft and some screws. But the bulk is on the front axles. No oil leak yet...

It's a wonder they don't do a lite oiling before they leave factory. I know it would be an environmental nightmare

The parts they are putting on should have a light coating of oil.

Ok. Rust is one thing but an oil leak is definitely unacceptable. I hope it all works out for you.

+1 on the oil leak. Please post when you get back from the dealer on the cause of that oil leak.
