Gas gauge sticking

I just filled my gas tank for first time at 350 miles and the gas gauge only went to half. I made sure there was full fuel in it but gauge still says half. Anyone else have this issue or do I have a lemon. Poor inspection from ford and my dealer.

Right back to the dealer you go!

Did it read full when you picked it up? How much gas did it take?

That's where I messed up, it read half. I thought they were being cheap.

My service manager said the float sensor was stuck. Offered to cover my cost of retrax install which I was originally there for. They are also going to try and have ford make one of my payments.

I also started a replacement claim with ford. Thoughts ?

Replacement claim for what? A new truck? Good luck with that. Sounds like an easy fix for the fuel gauge. Hope it worked out.

Float stuck on my Titan once...I was checking out new assemblies on Rock Auto..A couple of days later it goes back to normal. That was 75K miles ago.
