Every Moonroof leaks?

I saw where one member had an issue but wasn't too worried until today. Saw a SCrew in Key West (likely will sell at MSRP per sales guy) and it had no moonroof. I asked him about it and he said "yeah all the trucks we've ordered with them leak badly so we quit ordering the moonroof." He made it sound as if ALL the SCrew moonroofs leak like a faucet. Any truth from people who've taken delivery?

Mine isn't leaking (yet).

Do you honestly think Ford would be able to sell any moon roofs if they all leaked? Its a sales guy.

Ford has had sun/moonroof issues for years. Do a Google search. Do they all leak? Probably not.

I agree it's a sales guy but usually they are trying to max out their $$$ ....

You wanted a moonroof. He had one with no moonroof. He tried to Jedi mind trick you into not wanting a moonroof. If he had a Family Truckster he would have told you it was better than a raptor.

Hence, my reason for specifically NOT wanting the moon roof. I'm sure that plenty of them work as intended, and don't leak or rattle... However, I am also sure that there are far fewer leaking/rattling steel roofs than moon roofs.

Live in Oregon where we get more than our share of rain. My moonroof on my 2013 does not leak or rattle. To each his own.

How about facts and not hyperbole?

Do you know how many trucks Ford sells in a year? Two threads do not equal a majority.
