I would use baja mode, which puts it into 4 hi.

2wd would spin, 4a would be nice, but if you use baja, you get the advantage of the antilag.

Can you do 4a in baja? If you can, that would be best.

LEt us know what ya run!

This is from Renocorvette

I took my 2017 Ford Raptor Supercrew to sacramentoraceway 1/4 mile dragstrip yesterday and ran [email protected].

I know this is not a race car but this truck is not slow by any means. This truck is the complete package with the best all terrain capabilities and speed. This truck is bone stock.

Here is my video

https://youtu.be/v1E4LATbcWk

A 2.1 60Ft isn't bad but i was expecting better. For the launch, traction was never a problem. I had the truck on 4A and pressed the brake and accelerator at the same time and brought the revs to about 3RPMs and launched. My GTR would rev to 5k RPM at launch. Maybe a tuner can fix that.

I do see 13's stock regardless with just better Density Altitude. 13.5 on some of the east coast tracks that get negative 2000 Density Altitude.

I personally would not do a brake torque and just leave off idle..the truck feels the fastest that way.

I watched Hennesy's video and it appeared he used 4a which I may try after a 2wd run.

I've put a shit ton miles on my truck to do just that...A Raptor is built for the dirt world. If I'm going to drag race Ill take a purpose built machine to do so. Based on your original question maybe you should really think before you speak/post. It takes a ******* to launch in 4 wheel drive on a super tacky track. ***** gonna break and break good. Then you'll whine that it wont be covered under warranty and the dealer sucks and then the calls to corporate will begin and so on. How bout a dyno? and then compare just sayin... Just trade it in and sign up on another forum and save us all from your ******** like posts.
