I'm deciding between these 2 colors and while black has always been my favorite color on a car I have developed a little love/hate relationship with black lately since it's so hard to keep clean.

The Raptor won't fit in the garage and I wash my own cars since I don't trust the car washes...this leads to longer intervals between washes so she may be a little dirty longer until I have time to wash.

Lead Foot is so cool looking and different and I prefer that color, but how does it hold up to daily accumulation of dirt, rain, and finger smudges? Would Magnetic be a better option in that regard?

(I know silver is always the best for this, but I don't care for it on the Raptor.)

Thanks!

Like you said don't get black...... I have a black raptor and man what a pain in the ASS

I would say both are decently better than a black truck but maybe lead foot will hide dust slightly better.

I wanted white originally but came across mine at the time for a great deal and decided I could live with black. Wish I woulda thought a little harder lol

White hides the most scratches and dirt. You don’t realize how dirty it is until you wash it.

My avalanche colored raptor gets washed when it rains.

Always looks clean. Don't underestimate how nice it is to not have to fuss over cleaning!

White is your best solution. The difference between lead foot and magnetic for dirt is probably negligible.

The primary reason I wash my white raptor is because the magnetic colored appliqué starts looking like shit. Side by side it is shocking how much dirtier the magnetic trim looks next to the white. This is my first white vehicle and I was skeptical about the claims of how easy it is to maintain, but it is absolutely true.

Back to your question, I think the metallic flake in the magnetic would hide dirt better than uniform color of the leadfoot.

Good point!

It looks like I’m picking up a leadfoot next week. I love how the color looks different depending on the angle and lighting.
