@jabroni619. Thought it was just me...my AC is like drinking a beer that someone just put into the fridge an hour ago. Not sure what the issue is but my other cars would have frost coming out of the vents but this truck has heat coming out of the vents when it is just on "outside air" mode and when the AC is on...it is just lukecold.

Anyways, back on topic...I love the look of black wrap on the roof specifically...but living in Socal and knowing that I take my truck out to the desert, I'm afraid that the black on the roof is just going to be a heat magnet, make the cab extra hot, and lead to premature aging of the underlying paint on the roof.

That being said, you gotta do you man! If you love it, go for it! It is easy to reverse course if you change your mind.

nice! socal here too so the heat is a concern. pretty much the reason I opted out of getting a black raptor even though black is more my style. I think im going to pull the trigger on the roof wrap since like you and many others have said, if i dont like it i can just remove it. I think it'll add a nice contrast !

It isn't the heat that ages the paint, it's the UV... and the wrap blocks that.

I'm in SoCal as well. And you're right, if you don't like it, it is easily removed.

Nice! I can justify it even further by saying Im protecting the roof paint from UV damage ;)

I vote yes. Love how it turned out on our Lead Foot truck. We also did the center section of the hood as well and the matte finish of the MX4. Ties it all together.

Are you following a hood line with yours at the front? I am just wondering why you did not go straight across.

Yes they followed the hood line - they originally laid it straight and didn’t look right at all - at least to me
