5000 mile update and problems

Anyone care to summarize

Squeaky rear springs
Parking cable rubbing
Numerous fluid leaks

All @ 5000 miles

Ran it pretty hard
Oil leak around pan
Seepage from EPAS steering
wet spot on skid plate
nothing on floor of garage
waste gate actuator rattle
squeak rear springs, push down on it and noise comes from both sides
Wear from parking cable on leaf springs
Bump stop making contact with leaf springs


All I got out of it.

Good then the video was worth it, because thats all that was intended!

Is the waste gate rattle something that can be corrected at the dealer or is it simply the norm. Mine rattles for about 2 seconds on start.

Sounds like you have the typical cam phaser failure on cold starts.

Mine rattles on startup too. Not sure if it's the same sound as yours though, and it lasts more like 20-30 seconds.

Yes video was taken down...It will be back up in a week or so with some updates!

Summary:

-Oil pan leak (all the motors seem to have this issue but its an easy fix at dealer)
-EPAS is not leaking its oil from oil pan getting on it
-Leaf springs squeak really bad
-Waste gate actuator rattle happens but its really random

Only annoying part right now is the Leaf spring squeak
