5.5' Bed

I'm picking up a new 450 dirtbike shortly after my Raptor arrives this month. Will a full size MX bike fit with the tailgate closed? If so, any pics w gate closed ? Thanks

I imagine it should, with it parked diagonally. 450 motards/dirt bikes are fairly short wheel base.

Are you going to have a bed extender?

No, I'll get one if i have to but i was hoping to fit it diagonally with the tailgate shut. It's a KTM sx450. I'm hoping to not have to purchase an extender

It will, let me see if I have pics of it somewhere.

Edit: Don't really have any good ones, but what you have to do is put the front wheel really far to one side of the bed, and then swing the back tire into the opposite corner of the back of the bed. Fits like a glove.

I have a husky 350 and it even fits with the tailgate extender...its tight though. Without tailgate extender it will fit with no issue.

Yup it will fit on a 45 degree angle, tailgate closed. When I take two dirt bikes, I take my tailgate off cause rocks flip up and scratch it.
