Increasing compression will have a effect on sag as it strokes through the shock. It increases the resistance as the shock compresses, more resistance means you need more force to blow through the suspension travel. A higher compression will help with towing becuse the compression acts against the higher mass, and will prevent you from blowing through your suspension travel as easy; however, it's not going to have a signifact impact on the initial sag stance, and my guess is it will have a minimal impact towing becuse the stock spring rate is so low. Proper spring weight, compression and rebound are critical on shock absorbing properties and they all effect one another. Ever wonder why your super duties ride like shit unloaded? Cause they are designed to have weight on them. When you put 1000 lbs in the bed they ride smoother because the spring rates and shocks are designed to be optimal under load, your raptor is designed to be optimal empty, hence the ****** towing capacity.

When does pricing typically get announced?

The day after you give up hope of them releasing the pricing info.
I've been impatiently waiting for any additional official information on order banks opening and pricing. A saleman (Raptor4You) on the 'prospective owners' page said he should know more by Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

It is hard not to laugh with a name like yours...

I can echo that my salesman said he would have the full suite of info by next week. They expect to place their first orders in August.

Really guys there salesmen they’ll tell you anything to keep your hopes up. Just wait until it’s either handed to you or it’s on the site . Then it’s real!!!...

In my case, they’re trying to sell me one now. I’m debating if I should wait or not

They're trying to sell you a 2018 now? I would try to get it under MSRP. Raptor4You is selling (7) 2018's at $1500 under MSRP with a lifetime warranty on the powertrain. He's in Tennessee but he can have the truck shipped to you or you can make it a road trip.
