At least you have a '17. All I have is my wallet $500 lighter for the deposit 2 weeks ago and still no VIN. Small dealer though and I'm #2 of 2 allocations so I just have to be patient.

:)
You'll have your truck soon, with a better key than us with 17s. I hate my key, it feels so cheap...

I never even see my fob, it's always in my pocket.

That being said, if it is available as a programmable for the 17, which it most likely is, if I ever lose the fob I never see, I'll order the new one!

EDIT- It looks like the "new" fob is the same one used for the new Super Duty. (without the Raptor tag on the back)

Just sayin :)

I don't want to pop your bubble, and I hope I'm wrong, but if your dealer only has 2 allocations, I believe I was told that those 2 allocations are spread out over a year. So that would be one allocation every six months. The dealer I ordered through allegedly has 18 allocations, so that is one roughly every 3 weeks or so. I believe my order is 9th, but I have CF and BL, so I'm pretty much betting on my order being delayed.

Yeah I'm hoping for a VIN soon. When I made the deal the truck order had already been placed as a stock order and because a VIN hadn't been issued the GSM called while I was standing there and changed the order. He mentioned that by changing it to a retail order it was more likely the allocation would get pulled sooner but who knows. Several days later I reached out to FP on my own with the order number and dealer code and they at least confirmed they could see the details of the order on their end.

It may very well be in a holding pattern due to a commodity lock out at the moment but of course they couldn't comment on that.

But that's all I have right now.
