I agree with the test mule theory . Could be a ecoboost platform chassis and they wanted to outfit if with left over raptor parts just to see how an older set up would do . Only people who really know are the ones behind the wheel ..

Get over it guys, it's a test mule. The cab is the 2015 we saw at TRR, the bed and front end is the current model attached since it is needed for the wider track. The bed will resemble the 2015 bed with wider fender, front end is still secret to us.

I dunno, one of the test mules for the raptor looked like an F250 just with raptor suspension. Another they drove around Detroit and no one noticed.
