winter tires

ive just had winter tires installed on my 2012 screw
NOKIAN HAKKAPELIITTA LT2 315/70r17
stock size
same speed rating as stock
they are not as heavy as stock
they have severe service symbol (snowflake 3peak)
they are 10 ply
can be ordered with studs from factory
(i didnt take the studs)

the ride is not as smooth as stock bfg but
i probably wont notice after a few weeks

these are real winter tires
good for raptor owners living in north

if Mike at warren tire service in platsburg ny hadnt told me
about them i probably would not have found them

This is the first I've heard of a true winter tire in the stock size. How much were they?

WTF!! I'm so pissed right now. I haven't had my hopefully good enough winter tires on a week. I emailed Nokian and they said the only new tire in our size on the way was the Rotiiva and these aren't on their website either. I've spent the last 3 months bellyaching about the lack of snow tires and complained to anyone I could at SEMA and now these are available?!?

Well, good for you mrl, needless to say I'm super jealous. WTF!!

it is just freakishly lucky
i could not get 315 duratracs because they are back order
for a month.
i live where the law requires winter tires with
mountain snowlake on ALL passenger vehicules this year... no exemptions like LT or A/T etc.

but they do exist
posting pictures ... if can figure out how

sorry for dirty truck
i just had it waxed 4 days ago (sigh!)

ps im looking at the photos im trying to upload and...
my bill says thet are 10 ply E loads but on the tire it is D load 8 pr hmmmmm
