I've decided on a 37 12.5 r20 tire, but am now between the Toyo RT and MT. The RT is probably the smarter choice (lighter, mileage warranty, lower price, better on road which is what my Raptor primarily sees), but the deeper tread and end caps of MT are very appealing as well. Just wanted to know your thoughts and if anyone has heard the 37 12.5 r20 MT is hard to find? The 13.50 is plentiful (shown below), but I wonder if the 12.50 is newer, thus more scarce?

I'm also between the Fuel Trophy (anthracite ring) 20 x 9 +20 offset or the KMC XD128 (all black or anthracite with black ring) +18 offset. Does anyone know if the bolts are removable on the ring so if in the future I could remove during ring topcoat? Are both these wheels hub or lug centric? Could I get 0 or +1 offset to work without major trimming on high perch? Or would this stick out too far? If my calculating is correct, a +20/18 offset with a 9 inch wheel will bring stock out almost an inch.

From what I've researched, I should be ok on top perch with minimal trimming and maybe pinch weld hammering. Any comments, opinions, expertise is greatly appreciated as I've been pondering new wheels/tires for a while now.

Do you off road at all? If you do, you'll regret 20" wheels. There's just not enough tire left to soak up the rough stuff. If you ever get in the air the tires are going to eat your fenders without maybe 3.0's to help. 20" wheels are going to drastically affect your ride quality anywhere, really.

Stick with a 17" or 18" wheel......

To be honest, I don't do this truck justice as it rarely gets off road much less jumping it. Because I'm going with a larger tire, I'm only losing .4 inch of sidewall from stock setup. Thanks for the input and advice.

The Trophy bolts are definitely removable. I had my old trophies powder coated and pulled the bolts out before powder. Personally I'd go with the Trophy only cause the XD's are tankers. They weigh 45lbs compared to 34lbs on the Trophy. And with as much as the Toyo's weigh you're gonna want to save all the weight you can. Adding 25-30lbs per corner makes a noticable difference.

Thanks guys!

Question..the toyo site has the RT at 80 lbs and MT at 85 lbs, but I've seen other third party sites indicate the RT is only 72 lbs? Can anyone confirm as this may help make my decision as well.

I had thought about 18" wheels, but the RT and MT only come in 37 13.50 in 18. I know that 13.50 is getting too wide especially when they really measure over 14. More toyo tire sizes available in 20 than both 18 and 17.

Thanks again.

I believe we had a set here. I remember them being close to 80lbs a piece on the RT. I think they were around the 78-79lb on the UPS scale. Another solid 18" option is the 36" Toyo MT. Still 80lbs a tire but 18" wheels weigh less

Agree with the R/T's over the M/T's in your situation.

Only other thing is if since you really don't off road I would verify the ply rating and look into ride ratings.

I got the A/T II's, wanted the RT's, but on national backorder at the time. My A/T II's are a hell of a lot stiffer than the stock tires, had to air them down a quite a bit to get a better ride. These were for my winter tires, so I could put chains on them.

Thanks for all the input! I'm most likely going to go with the MT in 37 12.50 r20 on the 20 x 9 d551 fuel trophy. I'm trying to determine if I should go with +20 or +1 offset? I know the +20 would be better for any rubbing, but I'm scared I may regret not getting the +1? If my math is correct, I should move my current stock wheel over .75" if I go with +20, which includes extra .25 due to slightly wider wheel width of fuel. Using a vertical bubble level from OEM tire buldge, the .75" movement outboard should put me very near if not right at outer top fender lip. What are your thoughts on the two offsets to put me closest to edge of fender lip? Thanks!
