That's what I was thinking, but 1st going to check to see how much to ship.
And remove the tire pressure sensors.
Hmmm Time for some research.

The tire pressure sensors will un-bolt (torx drive head, don't remember size) from the valve stem. So no need to get new sensors. You would probably need to get the special valve stems (from Ford) though to install in the spare wheels. I think new stems are only a few bucks and I know they are easy to install for the tire guy. I pulled my sensors out and plan on putting them in my spare to rid my damn tire light.

Probably be best if you do 1 transaction at a time..... Take off a grey, run your spare in it's place, ship the grey, receive the black, mount it, rinse and repeat.

Sounds like we need a SWAP MEET! HAhhaaaaaa. Arkansas in the middle? We take a bike trip there every Spring and summer. I could trailer up instead of riding and do a swap. Oh wait, I don't even have mine still! HAhahaaaaa.

IRON, between mounting/dismounting tires, swapping TPMS and shipping these heavy beasts...you're probably in close to 100/each. Just buy some aftermarket blackies.

True. ...or just powder coat your grey ones black. Either way it's probably similar cost and less hassle.

I like the black ones also, 350$ @wheel at Ford is way expensive.

I kinda started to see the BIG picture when We started talking about shipping, removing sensors, new rubber. Might just do that.

Better off with new instead of powder coating.

I really like the Black factory ones, but yes when I saw that price :jawdrop:

Its a full size spare but the wheel is painted a different color then the rest. Its black not charcoal gray like the rest. Auto manufactures are required to paint it a different color (if) due to the fact it doesn't have a tire pressure sensor. Ford racing performance parts shows the wheel if you look at the "black" Raptor wheel on their on-line catalog.

if there was a spare with a tpms sensor would that screw with the 4 wheels that are mounted and on the truck?

last can a 35/12.5/20 fuel octane fir in place of the stock spare?
