securing tires question

ok guys, got the chase rack installed (thank you again mydinosaur) now im looking for the ratchet straps to hold the tires down nice and secure. any recommendations? found what look to be a nice strong 2" ratchet strap with locking hooks or do i need to go wider than 2"?

2" will be fine as most racks that come with straps are 2"
