SE style beauty rings on Ford beadlock wheels

I really like the Ford SE beadlock wheels with slightly tinted or grey beauty rings, versus the shiny silver ones I had on my all black Raptor. So, I found a guy in Houston (Clarity Auto Detailing) that also does powder coating. He's done a few local raptor owners' wheels, so I did the same. They came out great to me!

He's got the basic color down pretty well. He does the dark red inlay, then comes back with a clearcoat over everything. He'll also do custom colors beyond this.

Damn! Looks really really nice! Any idea on the exact paint color he used on the dark grey? A paint code? Or exact name or something? I'm considering doing the exact same thing!

Or @boarder1995 ...would he do them if I mailed mine to him? How much does he charge for a set of 4? I'd have my powdercoater guy do them but I'd be starting from scratch where this guy has perfected it and has it down.

I've seen the color codes posted somewhere, but can't find them now. He's got a description on the rings and powder brand further down on his page.

Cost was $55/ea ring. I'm sure you could mail them to him. Or me, since I'm right around the corner from him, if he doesn't want to mess with mailing.

Did he put a clear coat over the rings too?

I actually have 3 sets of rings and would like to get my existing SE rings redone and my plain ones like you had done in black to match the wheel with the SVT done in red.

Yeah, sounds like he does clear coat them. $55 each ring seems pricey to me. I know it seems like he does a solid job, with the detail of doing the red inserts and clear coating them...that's got to make it more. But I think these cost like maybe $20 each to just get powdercoated normally. My entire Method wheels cost $50.

I searched on here for the color code for the darker grey "special edition" wheel ring but couldn't come up with anything. Anyone know it?

The ring itself from Ford is over $700 each. So the price doesn't seem that bad.

Looks good. Really sharp on the truck.

Yeah, definitely seems worth the money for those who want the "special edition" color. Looks like a dead on match. Thanks for sharing with with us @boarder1995. I will probably be in touch with them and/or you very soon. Thanks too for the offer that I could ship the rings to you!

Just a stupid side question, the other day I started to try to take the beauty ring off with just a little Allen wrench I had. They seemed super tight and didn't want to damage anything so I just stopped. But when I do take them off, do I need to be careful of anything or just go for it and put some pressure into it?

You need a T45 and they do have blue loctite from the factory.
