modifying method center caps

I wasnt happy with how my method standard center caps stuck out so I decided to shorten them. It was pretty easy. Used 1 1/2in tape, tin snips and small channel lock pliers. Taped them up and cut along the line bent a new lip along with 3 stick outs that hold them tight when the wheel is installed. Took about and hour to do all 4 and I like the look much better- not my preference to run no caps at all so this was my alternative.

I'll be getting my methods in a few days and definitely considering doing that mod since you made it look so easy! Any other tips now that you have done it? Thanks.

Thanks Fred, Thinks are shaping up nicely. Lots of stuff on its way to the shop. I guess the body guard is for all that cash you are bringing with you-LOL. Just so happens I run a security company and we do lots of personal protection so I got you covered

Might cut them a little shorter still- not sure yet so I cut them the way I did- wasnt sold how they look close to flush with the rounded edges of the cap

I like the shorter cap much better, great job.
