Lug Nuts vary?

So, for Christmas received a Dewalt 20v 1/2" impact cordless wrench and picked up a 21mm socket so I can change tires easily. Except the 21mm doesn't fit my lugs?? Checked 3 other Raptors this morning at Sunday coffee, that had OEM wheels/lugs, and the 21mm fit all of theirs.

Weird???

No the chrome case on the lugs gets ****** up by badly fitting sockets and high impact settings with the socket not completely on the lug. Replace the lugs that you have issues with or get some without the press on cover from someone like gorilla.

Thanks for insight. It is just crazy to me that all of the lug nuts are mis-sized

I bought some open acorn lug nuts from summit racing, way better since then, plus they are super cheap. I picked up 28 lug nuts for $20
