I can tell you that I was little concerned about the ride quality when I put the DuraTracs on my Xterra, but they rode great. Even with a significantly lighter truck. Look forward to hearing how they feel on the Goliath.

That size is still E rated right? I am wondering if the large side wall...if I went with these for my winter tires...on stock 17" wheels...would be enough to compensate for the E rating vs. D rated BFGs that soak up all the road imperfections...which is about the only think I love about the stock BFGs
Great looking tire. I loved mine last year for the snoball run.Yes I drove them after our first snowfall (about 3 inches), they weren't bad but I had trouble gaining good traction consistently. Nothing compared to the Duratrac's, they're already worth the money

Just a quick update - I've already got about 600 miles on them. Loving them, my fuel economy is about 2 mpg better, and I like them for driving around town a little better than the stock BFG's. On the highway, probably about the same ride quality as the stockers, just a little louder.
I also just got done driving from the Twin Cities (MN) to Des Moines, Iowa for Thanksgiving in a pretty wild snowstorm. Saw 2 semi's in the ditch that had crashed into each other and probably 10 other cars. I had absolutely no trouble at all with them! 2wd the whole time!
Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving!

2 mpg increase with only a tire change?
Now just need some snow...
