Gold Bolts on Method NV's

Has anybody changed out or polished the bolts on the Method NVs to remove the gold color? If so how did ya'll do it, really dont think the gold fits my truck properly and would like an alternative before mounting them. Any ideas are helpful. Thanks.

Call Method and buy the stainless steel bolts that they have.

I thought I was going to do something about mine...but they look like Grade-8 Bolts and have started to grow on me. I guess if I see someone with silver or black bolts, it might change my mind.

Anyway, the bolts just back out, so you could paint them any color you wanted... but if silver is what you're after, I would probably just order replacements from Method... unless Home Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply, etc carry similar bolts. After all, they're just cosmetic.

The gold fades to silver eventually anyways lol

When my gold bolts fade I will call Method and have them warranty/send me new stainless bolts.

I didnt like the gold or stainless so I went with black bolts.

That's what in going for since my truck is ingot silver.

nice...where did you powder coat them or find them online? been looking around, rattle canned mine, but started to wear real quick.

You can also order the bolts from grainger McMaster or fastenall. Don't need to buy from method.

They are not grade 8, just Zink plated. They are non functional
