best width/offset for fender flush

Im getting some wheels for my 13 SCrew and have narrowed it down to two different wheels...20x9 ballistic jesters or 20x9 american outlaw hollywood....I want the tires to be flush with the fender flares so im not sure of the correct offset to get...the jesters come in offsets of -12, -6, 0, 12 and the hollywoods come in a -10 and a 15....Just as a FYI im up on mid perch as well....Anyone know what the (best) offset would be to achieve this without scrubbing or with minimal scrubbing as possible.

Most people on here will say 17 inch method wheels, which are zero offset. That's what I have and they stick out just past the fenders. definitely don't do go with a negative offset. Or you will be replacing all your front end joints

Agree that 17's are a much better option for our trucks. Maybe an 18" wheel would be a comprise for you if you want "big wheels" while still maintaining offroad function.
@LEEHWCAP would be the guy to ask about offsets. I personally like a 17" wheel with zero offset like a Method...does give a sweet stance to the truck...get em and you'll understand when you first see them on the truck

thanks for the input guys, most offroad my truck will see is a dirt road once or twice a year at the most so losing some functionality with going with a bigger wheel is no problem for me. The guys at work call it a pavement princess because I wont take it mud riding with them lol.

Now after thinking about it if the method wheels (which im assuming is the 8.5 wide after looking at their website) with a 0 offset sit out slightly past the fenders. The jesters with the 6 offset should sit the exact same on the truck as the 0 offset methods. Here is how I came to that conclusion. The methods 8.5 inch wheel with 0 offset will mount at center which is 4.25inches. The jesters which is 9 inches wide with a 0 offset would mount at 4.5inches. Ok so now with both wheels being 0 offset the jesters will stick out .25inches further than the methods. Now the jesters need a + offset to bring the wheel back under the fender well to match the methods. 25.4 millimeters is in 1 inch I will need +6 offset for each quarter inch. So that means the method 0 offset and the jester +6 will sit the same on the truck. svt_reid said his 0 offset methods stick out slightly past the fenders so to get the tires flush with the truck the +12 jesters will sit inside the fenders 1/4 inch or 6 mils more than the 0 offset methods.

Tires play a big role in this equation. An AT will small sidewall lugs will protrude less than say a Toyo MT or Nitto Trail Grappler. BTW the Jester isn't made in a +6. It's a +12 or -12. Also your back spacing calculations are slightly off. The math is good but wheels measure from bead to bead not lip to lip. A 9" wide wheel will measure 10" lip to lip. So an 8.5 +0 is 4.75" back space and a 9 +00 is a 5" back space. For the easiest offset comparing just use this link below. If you need Jesters shoot me a PM. I'll hook you up.
