Right on all those last posts. The BFG's are great road/wet/light off-road tire. They do suck in the mud. I am in the mud very little, as are most of us. Serious off-roaders need mudders. But I have had mudders on my Tahoe and good lord they were loud, and the pavement eats them up. For our use it is BFG's all the way.

I agree these trucks look great with 37's.

Couple questions for you guys running 37's.
Is there a noticeable power difference and is your speedometer off any?

Speed is about 5-6% off with 37's. No noticeable difference in power with the 37" BFG AT's. I went from factory wheels and 35's to Method NV's and 37's, which each combination is about the same weight, since the Methods are a little lighter than factory wheels and the 37's are only a little heavier than 35's. If you get into a 37" Mud Terrain, then that's going to be a 10+lb heavier tire over stock...and then you'll start to notice some power loss.

One member said it was about $2000 from Sam's club for 5 mounted and balanced.

How are you guys getting more than 30k out of the stockers? I have less than 500 offroad miles and am down to 6/32 in 22,500 miles. I know the new ones are a harder compound and 15% wear longer but they're $400 a pop. The Toyo AT2 is $100 cheaper and has a 50,000 mile warranty.

I'm willing to pay the extra $100 but not if it's going to last half as long. I need highway, snow, rock and gravel traction year round. No mud, not very much sand. 35 x 12.5 x 17

The OG bfgs are great. Ive had mine for 45,000 mi and will need to switch them out by winter. For an off road tire that gets this many miles ans still good off/on road. Im very happy. But they do suck in the mud.
