40" tire for 17" wheels

Why does it seem like all the larger tires (>37") are for 18+ rims?

Anyone have suggestions for a 40" on a 17"? Not Nitto

I suspect it's because of sidewall flex making the tire unstable at speed

true , they are not high speed and throw into a turn type of tire :ROFLJest:

39's they run in the races are 17's

40" tire for 17" wheels
