Been running my SVC tune for a couple months now, so much better than stock. Really like the transmission shifting points better and staying in lower gears a little longer even for just normal around town driving. Gas mileage isn't any better that I can notice but I'm probably keeping my foot in it a little more than before and counter acting any gains.

I just called into SVC today and had a chance to speak with Jeff. Very informative convo and he knows his stuff. I ordered one and can't wait to get it. I'm hoping it fixes the drive-ability is seems to have lost since I added the Roush CAI. From what I've read in 50-some posts here I get the feeling I'll like it. BBK throttle body and exhaust are next.

I installed the SVC tune on my 2010 6.2l Raptor a month ago. It has an Airraid CAI & custom cat back exhaust. The tune is excellent. Much improved shifting whether driving 'normally' or putting your foot in it. Running 91 octane, there is a small but noticeable difference in power. This is a good improvement to a great truck - as many have said, Raptors should come this way from Ford.

Safety Recall 16S19 / NHTSA Recall 16V-248
Customer Satisfaction Program 16N02

intermittent failure of the transmission output speed sensor (OSS)
may result in unintended downshift into 1st gear

FoMoCo has authorized your dealer to reprogram the
Power Control Module with software that will prevent an
unintended downshift into 1st gear.
As stated above the leadframe warranty will be extended to 10 years
or 150,000 miles whichever occurs 1st.
This is a one-time repair of OSS / replacement of leadframe
(to be determined by the dealer) for the freebie .
If you have already the mileage limit, program will last through 12/31/2016.

So, my question is:
Does a SVC tune affect the Power Control Module?
And if it does
Will the SVC tune negate the need for a FORD reprogram?
And if not
Will reinstall of the SVC tune negate the Power Control Module reprogram?
And
Will there be an "upgrade" to the SVC tune to remedy this?

THIS IS ALSO POSTED IN THE RECALL POST FOR TRASMISSION OSS

I would say that if the dealer reprograms it to a new default then adding a tune will not negate it. When you tune, it first backs up the existing and then tunes, you can always go back.

I wanted to take a quick minute and give Jeff and the Guys at SVC some feedback. I had been running The Tune for over a year now with no problems and am trilled with the truck's performance. I recently set the truck back to stock and when putting The Tune back on I stared getting a P0605 error. Jeff helped with getting this squared away quickly and the customer service was awesome.

I was close by the shop on Friday afternoon. So I decided to drop in to say thanks and check out the shop in person. It was at closing time so I didn't want to be a pain and hold them up (too much). The Guys took the time to give me a tour of the shop and let me poke around some of the builds they had going on. Jeff answered a bunch of questions about some of the upgrades I have in the works and gave me some pointers and lessons learned on the installs.

These guys have been at the top of my list when looking for aftermarket parts. After this experience I will most certainly be going to them in the future.

Thanks again Guys!

quick question, can you flash the tune back to the stock map before going to the dealer for service?
