Not really, they're still new man. Wait for a turbo upgrade then I'm sure people will jump in. I've done almost everything I can. I just need the turbo upgrade and we will see how good it is.

What tune are you running?

And I heard Hennessey has a turbo upgrade package out...

Yeah, I'm really surprised more people on here don't have this setup yet. Seems like a winner to me.

Everybody waiting for somebody else to do it first? That's understandable, I suppose.
The shipping of the PCM is a big reason for me.

This is a dumb argument
Stock to stock the gen 2
Mod to mod forget it, gen 1, not even close

Agree 100%.

Stock to stock, despite the extremely bouncy rear end of the Gen 2, it is the faster vehicle on and off road.

After you start modding, though, the tiny 3.5 is a severely limiting factor. To get to anywhere near the power levels the 6.2 is capable of will also severely restrict the 3.5's longevity and make it's already touchy/laggy power delivery even less suited to off road use. I'd say with the really big turbos that would be needed to push the same power levels a built 6.2 with a whipple makes (well over 750 at the rear on 37s), it would be downright dangerous off road. It's really just not a good motor for off road use. It's strong suit is as a marketing prop.

That will be like that for a while, same thing happened with the Gen 1.
Gonna have to wait till someone steals the editable (unencrypted) files for both the engine and transmission ( which by the way is not cracked!!! ),
Also this is the reason you don't see SCT Tune files yet.

I'm sure Jon Lund is working on something. LOL

I'm surprised to see HP Tuner has Tune platform for the Gen2, they never were able to do the Gen1.

so just a quick update on my original post.
Neighbor has a 5 star tune exhaust and intercooler upgrade on his Gen 2. claimed he is 477 at the wheels (I cant imagine) but I know he spent a shit ton on this truck.

If, and that's a big if... If he is 477 at the wheels, my "stock" Roush stage 2 is probably about the same (595hp with trans loss of 100hp=495) Guess we better line them up.

On the way to our play spot, there is a great country road with zero driveways/road entrances, so we can have a safe little stompfest.
Keep in mind, I'm on 37's and have 60,000 miles on my truck, he is 12,000 miles and fresh as a daisy.

When we get to the back road, we had been driving for an hour, so heat soak was equal. On 3 we go, and I get some tire spin that puts him out of the hole first...shiiiiit
I'm at his tailgate as the big ole 6.2 starts to hook. It stays there until I catch 3rd and start to reel him in. As im coming up to wave at him, he jams the brakes on and says he wins...lol.
OK, I'll give him that one, even though there was lots of road left and I was going by .
Turn around, take off all nannies, engage 4 high (I cringe, but hate losing more) 3 beeps and were off side by side... for about 50 feet and I start pulling ahead. I don't let off till im in 4th and he is several truck lengths behind!!

Its amazing what a little traction does. That little wheel slip made a huge difference in the acceleration on a 6700lb truck . Next time, I'll turn the Go-Pro on, I forgot all about it.

Anyway, he was not interested in a 3rd pull, said his wideband AFR was looking a tad on the lean side??

Off to the dirt we went, his truck is good offroad, but the 3.5 is just not as fun.
