Just scored all these bad boys off of ebay. I thought the cai was used but when i opened it up it was brand new. Going to do the install tomorrow. 330 dollar intake for just roughly 125 with shipping black mbrp exhaust for 140, but hsd to pay 120 for shipping, still better than 650 but im not fond of the reasoner. Tbi i got it just becuase it was a hell of a deal and i like the sound :D going to be a busy day off tomorrow dammit i need a shop.

Don't care for the CAI either. Not really cold air in any way, just like 95% of them- and the filter likely does a poor job of actually filtering the air. Both issues can be corrected by just sticking with the OEM setup.

Catback seems to be OK though.

i like the sound of the TBS. the intake helps a tad on the throttle response, but today it was embarrassing while idling in traffic its stalled on me. so for sure im going to buy a tuner this month. unsure which to go with. i used to have an edge porformance on my last truck, a 4.6 it did the job. maybe go with that again.

Highly recommend 5star. Lots of folks run it on here. The other popular one is from @svc.

As for the spacer don't use it, we are fuel injected, there is no benefit from a spacer under the TB that only controls air flow.
Back in the day a spacer helped with heat transfer from the manifold, it never really helped with performance on carburetors. Just snake oil.

I'm actually shocked the AFE would even consider a spacer and offering that the to Raptor owners, their better than that.

A good Tune from the mentioned above will give you the best bang for the buck.

Like i said from the top post: tbi was just for the sound, i wouldn't pay full price for one. I know it does nothing for power, the CAI probably doesn't do much either but both good deals. Bummer the tbi doesn't have that whistle sound like my 05 truck but ah well, the exhaust note is more pleasing anyways. this is pretty much a daily. funny thing is my project vehicle is a civic (lfmao it should be the other way around) but most goes to this child's toy. well this and a 1980 k10 resto-mod I'm doing as well.

Once that old K10 is painted and registered, that'll be the daily and then it'll be the Raptors turn to go under the knife. Probably be done with that old beater before December mainly because im going cheap bastard routes: PlastiDip it gloss red
