Should be, at least it was on the Lightnings.

Are you topping off or filling for the first time? I you are topping off you need to figure out where it is going. Lightnings had some issues with leaking cores for a few years.

If you are filling up and your truck won't see freezing weather there are some better options in terms of cooling efficiency.

NM on the last part just read your screen name!

Haha ya I see a bit of cold weather lol, actually I am upgrading to a high cap intercooler so I will need some fluid.

I forget which SC you have, 6.2Canadian.

Anyway this is for a Whipple application.
It's not the same anti-freeze as the orange stuff in the radiator.
It is a clear yellowish liquid and It's a good idea to get the 50/50 pre-mix stuff.

From the Install Instructions:

Fill the Intercooler tank with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze (Ford Motorcraft Gold or Zerex G-05).
NOTE: Use ONLY DISTILLED water for the 50/50 ratio with Ford Motorcraft Gold or Zerex G-05.
Whipple also recommends running 1 bottle of Redline Water Wetter in the intercooler.

WARNING!! DO NOT USE TAP WATER OR ANY NON-FORD APPROVED ENGINE COOLANT, THIS WILL CAUSE CORRISION IN THE SYSTEM.

Note:
Motorcraft Premium Gold Engine Coolant is yellow in color, which distinguishes it from Motorcraft's other coolants,
which include a green "premium" coolant and an orange "specialty" coolant.
A bittering agent has been added to the coolant so that you may identify it as a nonedible substance if you accidentally ingest it.
Ford began adding the bittering agent to its coolant in the U.S. in response to laws
that require it to be added to prevent poisoning and death in people who mistake the liquid for a beverage

The bittering agent was put there so pets do not lick it up off the floor/ground.
In the past pets were dying because of leaking antifreeze.
Ethylene glycol Kills.
Mostly the difference in antifreeze is - whether or not the corporation has paid for "Approved For"
thus, rendering different dyes.
Tap water has minerals. Minerals cause electrolysis aka corrosion.
Like MTF said, 50/50 with 'water wetter'.
Do you have a checkable reservoir?
Some of the old systems were closed.

I wasn't going to say that.

Roush puts together good kits.
The Stage 2 kit would be worth the 15K with full Stage 2 limited warranty, 590 fwhp is not bad.
And with the right Tune you might get a few more hp out of it.
But dealers are charging 15K for the stage 1 525 fwhp and no extra warranty other than what Roush gives included for free, well included in the purchase..
Dealers make it sound like they did the warranty.

Ya my kit and install wasn't cheap... I bought the extra warranty too
Knock on wood I won't use it but ya..
I have tried a few tuners because Roush tune is lame, I think the 5star tune was the best so far but it just shifted to hard.. JDM wrote me a good time but had a 130mph limiter... I'm going with Stanghi tune and the smaller pulley see how that does.
