From what I have heard, ARH headers do take out the 2011+ resonator piece and the straight pipe section found on the 10's. Do the Kooks and SW do this as well? Now that I just spend money mounting my cut out in that section, I would kind of like to keep it there when I buy headers down the road.

Any help would be great.

The y-pipe is what actually connects to the rest of the exhaust. Should you choose to go with the high flow catted (or non catted) y-pipe offered with the headers (and you should to compliment the additional flow), then yes you would lose the straight pipe-resonator section. The aftermarket y-pipe reaches all the way back just past the front door's where as the stock y-pipe is much shorter.
