I’m in the process of doing some mods to my 2012 SCREW (Roush Phase 2, Long Tubes....) and decided to swap out the black plastic valve covers for blue ones. After reading countless pages on the forum, no one sells them (why idk).

So I decided to purchase a set of aluminum ones and powder coat them as many others have I’m sure. Turns out my local place “isn’t comfortable trying to do what I’m asking”. I then found a place 2 hrs from me, called them up, told them what I wanted, gave them the color I wanted, they said ship them and they were certain he could do it.

I got them back yesterday and thought I would share with everyone. Let me know what you think.

I’ll post installed pics once I get them on.

Looks good. Correct color and texture. Next will be how to secure the plug wires and wire harnesses since the studs are in different locations.

See this thread and post #25 for what I did with them.

When you install them, pull the plug wires at the coils, not at the spark plugs. At the spark plugs they are a bitch to put back on.

Nice! Mind if I ask how much the covers and powder coating cost?

Thanks! I purchased the valve cover at my local Ford dealership. They were about $100 each. The powder coating was $125.
