Best way to increase acceleration?

With the mods that I've done, I reached a top speed of 135 mph in my Raptor. I ran a 15.11 @ 91 mph in the 1/4 mile at the track. I'm looking to increase acceleration, and wonder if a supercharger is really worth the money. I've heard mixed opinions... What are some aftermarket performance mods people have done that has really boosted power?

I find that driving down a steep hill increases acceleration a lot in these trucks.

If u have the money get supercharger and long tube headers or look into one of these twin turbo systems that are coming out. Either way upgrade your driveshaft and rear leaf springs along with these mods to help handle the power increase

Of course the ultimate would be 6.6 stroker and forced induction but that's big money...

Forced induction is the answer. I have seen a lot of unlimited budget motor builds from guys at Glamis and the fastest guys at the drags run TT set ups . I would say since the supercharger kits seem to have been done really well for the raptor and even though I believe the TT is better , the supercharger may have the edge. Jmho. Tim

Whipple will definitely increase your acceleration. What mods do you have done?

Done gears yet? Tuning? Torque Converter?

Can you post a list of what you have done and maybe some of your time slips?

Don't forget a new axle...

If you have enough money, you can do it the right way like Biggest did.

Best mod would to buy a newer 5.0 mustang haha! In all seriousness, a Raptor will never be fast, fast for a truck yes but not fast (unless you have the budget to get to 1000hp). Your money is better spent on something that is built to be fast IMO.

press your foot faster on the go peddle..... Throw the spay on it.
