Best all around headers and exhaust

I have a 2013 Raptor I would like to increase the preformance as well as the sound. I know I will likely need a tune as well.

1. Looking for header and exhaust that sounds great but does not have a bad drone on the highway

2. Preformance

Figured here would be the best place to ask what has worked the best for all of you.

Personally, I would go with SW headers and a Corsa Extreme. Throw in an SCT X4 with a performance tune from 5 Star and you will be golden.

For headers Stainless Works (SW) or American Racing (ARH) get my vote. I went with SW as they have a few more options for mid pipes and exhaust setups. I wanted the Lightning setup and with the SW headers you can do the performance connect which has true dual pipes into the muffler instead of the Y pipe. I have ARH on my mustang and the quality is amazing on them as well so you can not go wrong with either.

The lightning has bad drone, but the setup crown sells with the J pipe resonator I hear does not have the drone issue if you want a side exit. For least amount of drone you will want one that exits to the rear or the stock location as its furthest from the cab.

My two cents worth. I went with full kooks headers and pipes. Tough to beat on performance. Sounds great too. Very little drone. None at cruising speed, just a little to get there. You have to get a tune. Really wakes up the beast and compliments the tune. Good luck.

I would recommend any other handheld device... Just not SCT X4. SCT has terrible customer service. Ironically I was on the phone with FEMA today and instant customer service.

Funny you say that about SCT. I have been using SCT since 06 and even knew a few guys that worked there. Never have had any real issues and when I contacted them a few weeks ago to ask a question I was able to contact a person thru live chat in under 5 minutes and they answered my question on reseting my ITSX's bluetooth.

SCT is pretty much the best tuner available for Ford's. Diablo is a distant second.

I don't think your going to get to far with trying the trash SCT, since 99.9% of Raptor's running tunes are using SCT.
I kind of understand your still upset, but your issue was on the PC side, not the Tuner itself and the Tunes.

It just makes my blood boil because they were nonexistent. The problem was on their side since their product was not compatible with the computer. When I have to go get new drivers to make their stuff work, that's a problem. When I can't get them to even care about there flaw, that's the bigger problem.

Fact is they did reach out back to you, but not in a time frame you liked. You could have tried the live help on the website, instead you rather enjoyed bad mouthing them. Fact is windows 8.1 update caused an issue with the driver load, it is obvious you are not a computer person.

So lets not shit in this thread because you think SCT sucks because of a windows issue. Fact is the tuner actually worked and as stated already almost everyone here and most people I know in the ford world run SCT.

SW Headers & Corsa Extreme gets my vote...the setup is just nasty...
