A buddy of mine just picked up an eco boost fx4. Doing short sprints we were pretty even with each other. I'd say he may actually be a bit faster than my truck. It was hard to tell though as I would wait for him to get on it but I could barely hear that damn thing next to me. It sounds like my dyson vacuum cleaner. Regardless, I need more power! I've got an 87 performance tune and 5 star intake. I guess headers may come sooner than I thought. If he gets a tune for his i'm sure he'll destroy me though. Of course it would be different off road. At the end of the day though, theres always someone thats going to be faster!

Jeff

You're going up against a much smaller tire but damn, I figured the 6.2's would've smoked an ecoboost.

Theres a track video floating around somewhere of an ecoboost f150 running something like a 14.6 or 14.7 stock. So that would be about right. I'm thinking thats about how fast my truck would be if I ran the 93 performance tune. Maybe a little bit faster depending on the launch.

After driving more and more of them, I don't think the ecoboost in a Raptor would be faster than the 6.2. But the eco tuned should be night and day. I like the vacuum comparison- so true!

Its gearing too, we're running 4:10 and spinning bigger tires.

When they start tuning the Ecoboost like the F250 diesels, there nothing you can do to catch up..lol

I was running 620Hp with my tuned 6.4 Diesel.

With how computerized the eco is, I think its going to be really hard to pull some serious numbers out of it.

I want to see a compound-boost setup on an Eco.

Baby Whipple up top to make it have some real bottom end snap; then go up a touch on the turbo sizes to carry it through the top end better.

Maybe it will stay together for a couple passes

I thought bottom end snap is where the eco out performs everything?
