Hello there. I've been trying to find a snorkel for the Raptor and for a way to make the engine a bit more Water Resistant. There are certain areas that are allergic to water (alternator, coils, etc) so since most of my use for the Raptor is Off Road and here in DR there are a lot of rivers, ponds and mud i figured this was a must.

If any of you can shed some light on this much needed Mod, please advice.

here's the only Ford snorkel I can find. It seems if you're ambitious you can make any snorkel fit in to the fender and then craft some piping to route the air.

Yikes that snorkel looks like crap!
I've gone into holes i shouldnt have, had waterlines over the headlights, and come out fine. Just have to spray down the alt, heads and general inside of the engine compartment with a hose (not a pressure washer) and its all good.
Before trying to submerse this truck, attention is needed to the rear door seals - i can get the carpet dirty just hitting a puddle on main street...

Still no snorkels to be found for f150s 08 and higher :(

I too have gotten it into water above the bottom of the doors (about 4 in higher then the bottom of the door. Thankfully i had no leaks and no issues, but it makes me nervous having that intake pull air from so low (thankfully i have a volant intake)

Mine is not a true snorkel in the real water crossing sense but I am drawing my intake air form a few inches from the SVT vent on the drivers side... I bet ya I can go through higher water puddle that most everyone else can...
