Default San Antonio Area Raptor Meet??
Just throwing it out there.... It seems that there are a few SA/Austin and surrounding area FRF members around. Is there a place to go play, meet up and have a couple cold beverages?
Good excuse to have a beer, meets some new people and check out each others trucks.

We could meet at Twin Peaks, Tilted Kilt, Yard House etc etc..

I'm live in Corpus but come to SA all the time. I know the Houston guys are planning a trip down the National Seashore 9-14. Pretty fun place to go Raptoring.

In. My wife and I went about half way down National Seashore and it was wide open after about 20 miles or so. Does a Raptor convoy not attract a lot of ranger attention at Seashore? We took it easy around people but we actually got pulled over by the Park Ranger for going 25mph when the speed limit is technically 15 in the whole park. The rangers were very nice and just asked us to slow down after they ran my plates (it may have helped that we had bags of trash that we collected along the beach in the back of the truck).

I like the idea of trash bags to clean up. I spoke to the Park Rangers last week, and yes, they will enforce the speed limits on the beach, but he says there are some nice spots away from the beach that we could drive a little faster in. It's about safety, and I am looking forward to this trip in a few weeks.

I've never had an issue. See a white truck on the horizon and slow down. I dont think They don't have radar.

I went down once on New Year's Day and banged the truck on the limiter the whole way down. Not a single other car out there. It was awesome till I ran out of gas. With no cell service. At 10pm.

I'm guessing the ranger is talking about the road on the intracoastal side. Ill do a little research.
