Is there an easy to understand reason for sprung under or over?

More droop travel with sprung under. Maximum compression travel, the axle is the first thing to hit the frame.
Also better longevity on the springs. Thin leaf spring life is directly related to how many cycles they see with a negative arch.

This is a simple good explanation.

Are leaf springs included in this kit? Molten Orange from NW Indiana
No but we keep them in stock and usually throw them on the pallet & ship out with the kit. Just let us know if you would like them included in the quote.

Rogue Racing USA gives a closer look at how their innovative rear cantilever suspension system for the Ford Raptor works. This video shows the Rogue Racing cantilever system in use at high speeds over off-road terrain. Using King 3.0 - 3 tube Race series shocks, and Deaver springs you can see how the system articulates and handles the terrain. The cantilever system is also coupled with our bump stop gusset kit with King 2.5 air bumps, which can be sold separately. The system handled very well during testing and drivers noted that conditions inside the cab were smooth as the system soaked up the bumps and went right over the whoops. This system allows for 18-20 of rear travel on the Ford Raptor, without cutting of the bed or use of a bed cage. This system also utilizes a 1:1.5 shock ratio that handles and performs through rough terrain without the usual "kick" or difficulty to handle other aftermarket systems can experience. This system is designed to perform on and off the road, making this the most versatile aftermarket mid travel suspension system on the market today.
