Default Caution Rogue's LEDs and morals
I purchased the throttle series bumper made by Rogue Racing with dual 40" led lights bars last year in June. I finally received it on August 4th 2014. Everything was great until yesterday when I noticed 2 LEDs were blown out on one of the light bars. Per rogue's request I sent photos today.

I was then told it was out of warranty and to either take it to an electronics shop for repairs or purchase another through them with a 20% discount.

With that being said, I would caution any prospective buyers to do research on other light bars with better warranties. The fact that it is month 13 and the product failed makes me question the quality of the product. The warranty only applying for 12 months makes me wonder if they knew this would happen. And the fact that the company will not stand behind their product makes me question the company's morals.

I am not just a disgruntled person. As we all know, mods to our trucks are not cheap. I felt like I found a good company with good quality. One of the owners and i actually spoke to each other at length on the phone just talking Raptor. I really enjoy the look of my bumper. I like that they were able to custom design a few options of my truck. What makes me most upset is how it was handled and the timing. Bring it to an electronics shop and give us another $1600 isn't really good business in my eyes. If my light bar was three, four or five years old...then yes i get it. it would have lived through 3+ new england winters etc. But it hasn't. The truck has never suffered any damage. The light bars have never been smashed into anything. 1 month out of warranty makes me just shake my head and wonder...

I had no issues dealing with @Rogue Racing when my light bar had an issue. However, I was within the 1 year time period. Talk to them about upgrading to a Baja Designs bar if you're looking for something with a lifetime warranty.

If they extend the warranty for you, it's a never ending stream of others wanting to get their out-of-warranty light bars replaced too. Look at your Ford dealer, if your truck is out of warranty, and they offer you some off of the repair as a "goodwill"... no different.

You also say you're not disgruntled, but one thread is good enough, there isn't a need for multiple threads on the same topic - @KaiserM715

Just so everyone is clear here... Raptorzilla purchased a $1999.99 bumper, plus a $300.00 winch plate, plus $30.00 backing plate and two $699.99 lights on a package deal with free shipping ($284.00) for $2629.00. Yes we did offer to give him a 20% discount because it was out of warranty. We even extended the discount to 30% which would give him a replacement light for $489.99 plus shipping. Basically cost. The original order was shipped on 7-15-14 which puts this 60 days over warranty. As many of you know us, if you have an issue we will work with you. Instantly playing the "We are going to bash you all over the internet card" gets you no where. A reply email with "This does not work for me can you do any better?" would have probably got you a free replacement.

Can't stand people that do that on here or on Facebook...

Again. Questionable morals. If a reply email expressing more concern was sent---which it was and I was told 30% was the bet you could do---why not just offer the free replacement one to begin with? Clearly it's not bashing. It's cautioning others. And as far as shipping--I purchased it in late June and it showed up on August fourth. I do not have a degree in mathematics but August fourth to today is not 60 days.

Again, "instantly bashing"? No. I called and sent two emails. Nothing instant about that. And if you would have given a free one to me eventually, why not do it after the phone call, the first email or the second email?[COLOR="Red"]

I am not disagreeing with you. When Rogue first came out with that bumper, on their website they offered for sale those radius lights. Think they were around $600. We all know at that price point that they are china crap. Now on their website, those are not offered. And going to the bumper section, it does not show you what lights you are getting. In the lighting section even though not listed anymore, they do show only 1yr in the warranty section.

Rogue needs to be more transparent when customers are ordering bumpers with provided lights. They should at least tell customers what they are getting and that gives them an opportunity to "upsell" them to a name brand light with a better warranty. Why Rogue doesn't do that, I don't know...make perfect business sense to me. They should at least show it on the website though.

Personally, if I knew a light only had 1yr warranty and it failed in 13 months, I would not expect a vendor to warranty it. If they did, that would be awesome but I would not be upset if they didn't, I knew what I was getting upfront.

When I went shopping for some less expensive lights, M&R had either a 2 or 3 yr warranty. They are cheap too. I ended up buying a different brand because they had a lifetime warranty and paid a little extra. But I am in the same boat, they are TMX Blackhawks and technically the warranty is only valid as long as TMX stays in business. So it's "their" lifetime, not mine. :-(

Wish you the best of luck getting things straight.

There are not questionable morals here. We have a warranty and we honor that. We also offered to help when out of warranty. Good morals there. Yes you did send two emails, the first was replied too which you didn't like, the second was sent and before we replied you already started bashing us on our Facebook page. We stand behind our products as many of you know. If something is out of warranty or something happens, we try and help. I pose a new question now and here it is:

Now that you have posted this and we have established that your light was shipped on 7-15-14 and it is now 9-21-15 which clearly puts this over 60 days past your warranty, what do we have to gain by giving you a replacement light?

We get that it shipped on 7/15. It didn't show up until 8/4 as I've stated above. Which CLEARLY does NOT put me at over 60 days which I also already stated above.

It still puts you 49 days out of warranty from delivery date and I still pose the same question.
