The Midwest is known by many names: America's Breadbasket, the Heartland, Flyover Country – the list goes on. Mid America Motorworks is adding another name to the list – Corvette Country! Every September, thousands of Corvettes flock to the Midwest – and specifically Effingham, Ill. – for Corvette Funfest. That's why Mid America Motorworks is celebrating Corvette Funfest 2015: Corvette Country
Corvette Funfest is scheduled for Sept. 17th through 20th and kicks off with a Thursday Night Fun Run, where the Effingham Convention and Visitors Bureau hosts a Welcome Fest. The annual Friday Night Charity Event includes a silent auction to raise funds for a worthy cause and the headlining Saturday evening concert caps off the weekend with world class music.
All four days are packed with activities that center around America's Sports Car. Visit the Install Dome for new exhaust, American Racing Headers, Superchargers, intakes and custom interiors. The Fun Dome will feature the latest Corvette lifestyle items, from books, apparel and leather jackets, to furniture, jewelry and accessories that make your Corvette passion come to life. Seminar Village is the place to hear industry experts share tips, technical information and fun memories of their experiences with Corvettes. Combine these events with Celebrity Choice Awards, special displays and Corvettes as far as the eye can see and you'll be eager to come back and do it all over again in 2016!
