Raptor Roundup - July 16, 2011 - New Mexico

So it sounds like there will not be trail rides outside of the track like the first Roundup. Bummer.

Has anyone gotten a confirmation back after registering for this?

Starting to have second thoughts about this.

I was also wondering about this...I haven't gotten any confirmation emails either.

I got mine this morning.

VIP PRE-PARTY – It is necessary for anyone that is coming to the VIP Pre-Party to present their invitation at will call to receive a wrist band for our event and the concert afterwards. For those that have already enrolled you should have received another email with this info this morning.
We are now having a guest speaker during the VIP Pre-Party. Her name is Sue Mead who is a member of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame and Winner of the Dakar Rally in Ford Raptor. Below are a couple links about Sue.

Pre-Event on Saturday
We would like to meet at the Route 66 Hotel and Casino the morning of the Roundup at 7:20am to head to the track together for a side road Raptor parade.

There have been a couple of questions about the track at Sandia. The track for the event is still under construction. The dirt short track has two large banks that we plan on utilizing. Within the oval, the team from VORE and Sandia Speedway will be building a couple jumps which lead into exiting the track onto a off-road terrain. The off-road terrain portion of the event will have a couple chutes, "S's", sharp turns and a number of different size bumps or moguls.

We look forward to seeing you at the events.

anyone else having problems with confirmations or have any more questions? the round-up is coming soon, so be passing the word around so all off-road enthusiasts get their chance to experience this!!!!!!

I got a second confirm to be there for Saturday at 7AM for a photo shoot. Anybody else?

I didn't get a second confirmation email about a photo shoot, but I won't be there until noon-ish anyways.

I've heard about some people who have registered a day or two after I did and they have not received any email confirmations... I'm sure we are at least allowed to bring a "guest" to ride along? Either way, I'm looking forward to going. The temps are supposed to be in the high 90s-100s...meh.
