Photobucket was sold and they will now start charging.

So all those links to a photobucket account will soon go away as I do not plan to pay them anthing.

So any other free post sites out there I can switch to?

Ok guys I get a lot of people asking me how to post pictures on the forum. You can either upload them as attachments directly to the forum by clicking the
attach.gif
button in the post editor box or...

To post a picture you found on the internet:

1. Right click on the picture and select "View Image Info"

2. This will open a new screen which will give you the direct url link to the photo. Copy this direct url link.

3. Come back to the forum and click the
insertimage.gif
button. Paste the image link you copied in to this box:

**All the
insertimage.gif
button is doing is adding IMG BBcode tags around your picture url which you can do manually as well by putting [ IMG ](no spaces) in front of the url and [ /IMG ](no spaces) at the end of the url.

To Share "your" pictures I recommend opening a Photobucket account at Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket. You can upload all of your pictures to Photobucket from your computer and keep them online in your album.

1. Once you have uploaded your photo to Photobucket, open the picture and copy the IMG code for the picture and paste it in to your post(that's it!):

How to post Youtube Videos:

1. YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE THE YOUTUBE BUTTON ON THE FORUM.

2. All you have to do, is copy and paste the url of the video you wish to share, and post it directly in to your post. That's it, do not add any additional tags or BBcode.

** If your video does not work, make sure you are taking the direct url of the video from Youtube. If you are viewing a featured video or a video within someone's Youtube channel, the url code will be different and will not work. You need the direct Youtube link which is found when you view the video from a public Youtube search.

Thanks for the info VIPLP. I tried posting a video, and it didn't work. This explains it.
