The only real comparison I can give honestly is the fact that EBC doesn't cross drill their rotors and do not recommend those that are. They cross "dimple" their rotors for what is suppose to be the same reason, but is suppose to cause less stress on the core metal and avoid messing up the venting support cross vanes between the two sides of the rotors due to cracking.

That being said. All I can truly honestly offer is my personal experience with these rotors. I ran them on my 03 Duramax hauling Christmas trees and other farm stuff. But the Christmas tree season is usually a 10-15 day season hauling loads most people wouldn't put behind a 1 ton dually and my truck is a 3/4 ton 2500HD (ZF-6). Each year I would try different combinations of rotors and pads in January and by the end of the Christmas tree season I would be metal to metal warping and grooving the rotors. These R1Concepts rotors are the only rotors (with posi quiet ceramic pads) that survived one year, mush less two and they are still on the truck. No cracking, warping or anything.

This picture has been everywhere but it is just one example of how large the Christmas tree loads would be...
