I have been working on a cantilever set up that will work with spring over set ups along with all aftermarket bump stop kits. Goal is to get 14-16 ins of travel while moving the shock out off harms way and getting rid of the week upper mount. A extended shackle will be part of the set up. The levers have 3 holes- 16, 14 and 12 (stock) travel. Stock travel hole will be eliminated in the final design. I have grown tired of beating the crap out of my icons and slamming the lower mounts all the time on rocks- after seeing the SDHQ set up I am inspired. This is in the early stages of design but I figured I would share some pics- crappy Iphone ones. Everthing is pretty raw as I work out the design

Your job is cooler than my job.

Is there any way to run a setup like this being spring under or is there not enough room?

I love the cantilever idea but I want to move my axle to inside the spring and notch the frame.

It will work for spring under also. Spring under is actually easier since the springs archs lower- the mount for the lever is the tuff part- clearing the spring. The idea behind this is to make it work for both and be bolt on.

Some pics of the forward shock mounts almost done. 1/4 in mounting plates that bolt to frame with 5 - 1/2in bolts. Frame will be sleeved and bolts will go thru both sides.

Plan is to make the lever mount bolt on also. Stay tuned
