If your OEM SVT FOX 2.5 Internal Bypass shocks are out of warranty and in need of service, you can send them to our FOX El Cajon Service Center for service.

The parts used in the OEM SVT FOX 2.5 Internal Bypass are very similar to our Factory Series 2.5 Internal Bypass race shocks. You will find exploded views and other manuals for the FOX Factory Series 2.5 Internal Bypass on our website: FOX Factory Series 2.5 Internal Bypass

Since I have one front shock and one rear shock leaking oil I to have been trying to get a service and parts manual. I live in the United Arab Emirates and sending shocks for service in the US is not an option.

My local Ford dealer suggested replacing the units so I told them where to stick that idea!

My local specialist Offroad garage has offered to service the shocks but I need a parts manual and recommended nitrogen pressures.

Both my front shocks "ring" after a big bump. This is caused by the cup above the bump stop being lose. Without seeing a diagram of the actual shock how am I to know if something is wrong.

Please make a parts and service manual available for our actual shocks as a good number of us Raptor owners can not use a US based service centre and Ford don't have a clue how to service shocks!

FOX does not provide the spring or upper spring mounting hardware for the FOR SVT Raptor so unfortunately we cannot help you with any information on that.

In the previous post we give reference to the Factory Series 2.5 Internal Bypass which construction is similar to the OEM SVT FOX 2.5 Internal Bypass shocks. OEM SVT FOX Internal Bypass specific parts are not setup or available for purchase. Authorized shock service of the OEM SVT FOX shock can only be preformed at our El Cajon, CA service center. Servicing the OEM SVT FOX shock requires specialty tools and parts that are only available at this facility.

A service manual for the OEM SVT FOX 2.5 Internal Bypass shock unfortunately does not exist.

Thanks for the prompt reply but I don't think sending my shocks to literally the other side of the world for service is gonna happen.

It would be good if Fox could think about all us other Raptor and Fox Shox owners outside the US and come up with some service instructions and a parts list. Dont think a letter to Mr Ford from little me is going to get results.

My local Offroad garage can surely rebuild these shocks as they have on my other vehicles but without parts and service guides there is an element of guess work.

Can you at least let us know the recommended or stock nitrogen pressures for the front and rears.

Thanks.

Don't get upset with Fox. I'm sure Ford insists that Fox not share any info or sell the shocks/parts to anyone but Ford. It's just the way the game is played.

If your local offroad shop rebuilds shocks they will surely be able to handle these. You can always upgrade and order a set of Fox 3.0's

Another option: RPG is a vendor on this site and I know they have quite a few sets of stock shocks that have been taken off when customers upgraded to the Fox 3.0's. Try giving them a call and see if you can purchase some from them.

Raptor shocks are charged with 250psi of nitrogen pressure. They require a custom needle filler valve to fill which unfortunately is currently not available for sale. We have seen a Raptor owners install schrader valves in place of the needle filler.

Stated in a previous post: parts are not setup or available for purchase and a service manual does not exist. The OEM SVT FOX Raptor shock is very similar to a Factory Series 2.5 Internal Bypass.

Well this really blows as I just bought a 4 of these...

Are the tools really "that specialty" or is that just a "fox and ford agreed only we can say we service them so the average guy has to spend more money" kinda deal?

Also anybody have info on putting the shader valves in? If I can't revalve, at least maybe I can play with the nitrogen charge amounts.
