Any updates on this? Specifically the aluminum version.

We're getting there guys. All of these accessories are at powdercoating. Boxes are in, kits are in, racks are coming in from bedliners. "Shipping issues" are getting ironed out. Major equipment purchases have been made.... Thanks for everyones patience, these are rolling out as we speak.



Aluminum.....hmmm... It can be done (we've built some ), they're nice, really strong, light weight.... We're still deciding if its worth building them, it all comes down to demand. We have to stop production on the steel (massively more popular) to run aluminum, which is driving up the cost more than I thought.

how many orders would you need before it's feesable I'm guessing the other is for the non raptor crowd mostly?

I'm looking at the aluminum version or slide-out type myself. First option would be a slide-out type but second would be aluminum due to the weight savings since we have such limited payload as it is.

Is the aluminum still going to be $100 more or are we now looking at more?

I haven't seen anything yet. Seems like a great idea. What are expected shipping costs? Can they ship anything other than freight?

I got the steel version. It came ups. I have not installed it, or opened it yet, because of a run of working overnights. I will write it up when I get a chance to look at it.
