Swoop, the only amber ccfl's Ive seen have more of a yellowish look to them and wouldnt match the amber of our trucks.

I have some 5000K white ones coming monday along with 2 more shroud types. Ive got a couple ideas for putting them in the shroud as opposed to on top of it. You wont see the ring directly but will see it through the holes in the shroud. Should be pretty cool.

Definitely put up some night picks. I hate the stock lights on this truck and am interested in doing this with a swap.

If anyone is on the border about this mod, it is worth every penny and doing business with Duc is a no-brainer. DO IT!

55w ballasts usually aren't that much more expensive. We're talking about a $10-60 here.

installation?

How bad is the installation? I assume since you're using stock shrouds that bolts right in. Are there ballasts that need to be mounted as well?

Having them in Black would be wicked - I'm getting a white Scab in about a month and love the black&white treatment.
