Good bump... Very impressive how to. The funny thing is, that you will never know when this mod may save lives. But that's a good thing. Plan for the worst.

My last minute SnoBall prep was 3 days before for this. I got the spot when Ross had to cancell. I already had the Vertex's, so I did this. Thanks for the idea. I have a 12 and ran into 3 layers of metal, but I mounted a little further to the sides.

I know I had to cut two layers. The second layer was about an inch further in though.

I gotta tell you i always loved this mod, but i am terrified to drill in to my cab


It's really not that bad. The biggest thing is making sure it's measured right and you have a good holesaw. A step down bit that goes that big would actually work better.
