What year is your truck? Sometimes the header bolts are one or the other.

i just read on another thread they have to be 1.25

They should all be 1.25 I believe. The difference in model years was coarse vs regular.

That should be a good spot. The wood will help disperse the weight and keep anything from getting damaged. It's not good practice but without an engine lift you don't have many other options.

Took the stock manis out but damnnn i cant get the headers in!!! They hit on the rail frame :/ how did you guys do it?

Managed to *** both sides up but cant line them up because of the f studs :/ did u guys used the after market ones?

I used stage 8 bolts and I left them all out. When I got the header in position I put a couple of the lower ones in so I could hook the header on there to hold it

I put the bottom ones in so I could set them on the bolts and they wouldn't fall out of position. If you have to, raise the engine up some more
